Janna Ashri is a multimedia artist from Malaysia.

Having moved around from one country to another from a young age, her works often relate to her experiences as an immigrant, now living in Canada. Her work explores themes of displacement and rediscovery of identity through experimentations in installation work, traditional mediums, and digital media.

Using these techniques to create interactive experiences, she hopes to foster a sense of play and contemplation into the lives of those who view her work.
